We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help build and evolve a core product for a growing technology platform. This role sits at the intersection of product and engineering and is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, turning real customer problems into well-crafted features, and owning work from discovery through delivery.
You'll operate with a high degree of ownership, collaborate closely with design and engineering partners, and help drive progress through ambiguous problem spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end product features across frontend and backend systems
- Translate user and business needs into scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Collaborate closely with designers to refine interactions and improve product quality
- Take ownership of ambiguous initiatives, defining scope, milestones, and outcomes
- Work directly with stakeholders to iterate on features and ensure strong product fit
- Contribute to technical and architectural decisions as the product evolves
Qualifications
Required
- 3-7 years of professional experience as a full stack software engineer
- Proven experience owning features or projects end-to-end
- Strong understanding of web application architecture across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Experience building user-facing products in collaborative environments
- Product-oriented mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and usability
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working cross-functionally
Preferred
- Experience working on complex or evolving product surfaces
- Exposure to AI-enabled, data-intensive, or platform-style products
- Experience in fast-paced or early-stage environments
- Prior technical ownership or informal leadership responsibilities
