IT Field Services Regional Manager
Summary:
Glocomms is partnering with a leading global construction firm to identify an experienced IT Field Services Regional Manager to lead and support regional field services operations across corporate offices and active construction job-sites. This position is based in Boston or NYC and will be responsible for delivering reliable, scalable IT infrastructure and services while leading high‑performing teams and ensuring alignment with organizational, operational, and customer needs. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and operational oversight, with a strong focus on service delivery, project execution, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage regional IT field services operations, supporting both corporate offices and construction job-sites.
- Oversee job-site IT mobilization, infrastructure services, and ongoing technical support.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal IT teams, project teams, and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership across PC, networking, and infrastructure environments.
- Plan, manage, and deliver job-site technology and infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and oversee regional and corporate IT budgets, ensuring financial accountability.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned with business requirements.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional IT field services professionals.
- Manage direct reports, including performance management and employee development.
- Conduct talent evaluations, performance assessments, and career development planning.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, site leadership, and corporate teams.
- Provide human resource management for field services staff in the assigned region.
Qualifications:
- (Hybrid) Ability to work 4 Days in office with 50% regional travel.
- Proven project management experience, particularly in job-site or construction‑related IT projects.
- Track record of budget management and financial oversight.
- 5+ years of experience managing employees and/or projects.
- 3+ years of technical support experience in PC and networking environments.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 8 years equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience.
