Our client, an Electronics Manufacturing Company, is seeking a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join their innovative team located in Gray, Maine. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing and maintaining systems critical to their Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes while collaborating closely with Engineering and IT teams to drive efficiency and excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with IT and Engineering management to optimize SDLC processes and tools for faster delivery cycles and superior product quality.
  • Designing, documenting, and implementing pioneering DevOps and SDLC system solutions.
  • Developing and deploying SDLC systems to support software engineering and IT disciplines.
  • Providing hosting and administrative support for development environments, automation, and tooling.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation and training materials for effective system usage.

Key Skills Needed:

  • Strong communication and technical writing skills to collaborate and produce technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in planning and executing work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in developing or extending CI/CD systems.
  • Quick learner capable of integrating diverse technologies.
  • Expertise in DevOps technologies, including:
    • Development environment tools: VMware, Docker, Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
    • Version control and build systems: Git, Artifactory, Conan.
    • Verification tools: clang-format, cppcheck, SonarQube, Coverity.
    • Defect management tools like JIRA (XRAY experience a plus).
