Project Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO Project Manager to join a dynamic team supporting a major international automotive supplier. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects by overseeing budget management, resource planning, and milestone tracking. You will serve as the primary liaison between our client and their German teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment across all project phases.
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Mulhouse - first two weeks onsite - 2 times per month after that
Languages: French and German
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for all communications and coordination with the German teams of our client, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow.
- Oversee and manage project consumption tracking, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and in line with project expectations.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, providing regular updates and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring that all actions are aligned with key milestones and delivery timelines.
- Support the implementation of PMO best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance project governance and reporting.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and issues, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a PMO or project management role, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of budget management, resource planning, and milestone tracking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with German-speaking stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
- A background in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
