About the role:
The client is seeking an Operational Security Consultant to support the security operations of its information systems. The role involves working closely with the Information Security Officer and operational teams to ensure cybersecurity
standards are implemented, systems are monitored, and incidents are managed effectively. The consultant will contribute to incident response, system administration, and continuous improvement.
SecOps Skills:
- Experience in administration and operation of IT systems.
- Experience deploying security solutions.
- Scripting experience (Python/Bash).
- Cloud experience (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
- Experience in security incident response.
- Experience in cybersecurity investigation and forensic analysis.
- Support in maintaining the security posture of the information system.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Good knowledge of Docker Swarm.
- Strong networking knowledge.
- Good understanding of web hosting under Apache/nGinx.
- Knowledge of backup, vitalisation, and paravirtualization.
- Configuration and security maintenance of tools (SOC/SIEM/EDR).
- Alert analysis and qualification (SOC/SIEM/EDR).
- Handling security tickets submitted by users.
- User support for security-related issues.
- Participation in POC phases for new products when needed.
- Familiarity with security tools (Cloudflare, ELK, Antispam).
- Coordination with outsourcing teams on information security issues.
- Technical documentation writing skills.
- Ability to analyse security logs and qualify alerts.
- Collaboration with operational security teams to manage and operate existing security software and solutions.
General

- General knowledge of IT project management.
- Professional and Technical Skills:
- Professional qualifications or specialised studies (preferably a university degree in computer science).
- At least two years of professional experience in similar activities (may be increased depending on the number of applicants).
