About the Role
As a Security Software Engineer within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you'll help build and maintain core platforms that support authentication, authorization, identity, and secrets management across a global technology infrastructure. These services are foundational to every application in the organization.
You'll work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements, implement features, and drive adoption of IAM services. Once onboarded, you'll also participate in an on-call rotation to support production environments.
What You'll Do
- Develop new features for the Automated Certificate Management platform, integrating with a growing list of endpoints.
- Provision and manage complex poly-cloud infrastructure using internal build tools and processes.
- Become a subject matter expert in digital certificates and a trusted advisor to engineering and business teams.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java, Python, or C#
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CDK
- Comfortable with Linux basics (e.g., navigating the filesystem, searching logs)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Commercially aware and focused on delivering value to stakeholders
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and frameworks like Spring
- Knowledge of PKI, X.509 Certificates, TLS, or Applied Cryptography
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Private CA, Certificate Manager, Secrets Manager, and IAM
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS
