Security Software Engineer - Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Location: Dallas, TX

Join a team of engineers solving complex and high-impact problems in a fast-paced, global environment. We're looking for creative technologists who thrive on innovation, collaboration, and secure, scalable solutions.

About the Role

As a Security Software Engineer within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you'll help build and maintain core platforms that support authentication, authorization, identity, and secrets management across a global technology infrastructure. These services are foundational to every application in the organization.

You'll work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements, implement features, and drive adoption of IAM services. Once onboarded, you'll also participate in an on-call rotation to support production environments.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new features for the Automated Certificate Management platform, integrating with a growing list of endpoints.
  • Provision and manage complex poly-cloud infrastructure using internal build tools and processes.
  • Become a subject matter expert in digital certificates and a trusted advisor to engineering and business teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java, Python, or C#
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CDK
  • Comfortable with Linux basics (e.g., navigating the filesystem, searching logs)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Commercially aware and focused on delivering value to stakeholders

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and frameworks like Spring
  • Knowledge of PKI, X.509 Certificates, TLS, or Applied Cryptography
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as Private CA, Certificate Manager, Secrets Manager, and IAM
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS
