Front-End Developer (Contract - Inside IR35)

Working Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join a front-office technology team at a Tier 1 investment bank. You will be responsible for building responsive, performant, and secure user interfaces for trading platforms, risk dashboards, and internal tools used by traders and analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain real-time, data-rich web applications for trading and analytics.
- Collaborate with UX designers, back-end engineers, and product owners to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and WebSocket data streams for live market data and trade execution.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and adherence to internal security standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous integration workflows.

Required Experience:
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript in enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience working in financial services, ideally within trading or risk platforms.
- Familiarity with real-time data handling and performance optimization.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and secure coding practices.
Contract Details:
- Rate: £550-£700/day (Inside IR35 via approved umbrella)
- Location: London (hybrid model - 3 days onsite)
- Start Date: Immediate or within 4 weeks
- Interview Process: 2 rounds - technical + stakeholder fit
