Our client is focused on applying advanced AI to streamline and improve key operational processes in healthcare, working with large-scale clinical and administrative data to power more efficient systems
Responsibilities:
- Own and build the backend data foundations powering AI-driven healthcare revenue systems, including schemas, APIs, and large‑scale data ingestion/processing pipelines.
- Work with high‑throughput data pipelines using tools like Spark, Airflow, Kafka; build microservices/ETL in Python, Go, or Java; and manage infra with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Ensure performance, observability, and data quality across massive healthcare datasets (claims, patient encounters, workflows).
- 5+ years engineering experience required; mid‑level to staff roles available (L2-L4). In‑person NYC, 3 days/week.
- Skills:
- Experience building microservices and ETL pipelines using Python, Go, or Java.]
- Strong with Spark, Airflow, or Kafka for orchestrating and streaming high‑throughput data flows.
- Proficient with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes for infrastructure management.
- Skilled in implementing observability and reliability practices-instrumenting pipelines with logs/metrics to detect issues early.
- Experience working with healthcare data (FHIR or HL7)
