Manager of Identity and Access Management
Glocomms is partnered with a mission‑driven federal financial regulator seeking a Manager of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to take ownership of its identity governance landscape. You'll guide a skilled team, shape IAM strategy, and drive meaningful change in a place where accountability and impact genuinely matter.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the IAM team, including coaching, mentoring, workload oversight, and escalation handling
- Oversee daily IAM operations: access requests, end‑user support, and technical issue resolution
- Manage the IAM backlog, sprint planning, and Agile workflows using Jira
- Partner with IAM engineering teams on product enhancements, upgrades, and quality‑of‑life improvements
- Utilize IAM and Identity Governance tools such as SailPoint IIQ, Duo MFA, Entra ID, Ping, SSO technologies, and ForgeRock
- Maintain regulatory compliance and audit readiness for internal and external audits
- Execute IAM controls, support control testing, and manage findings remediation
- Lead evidence collection, audit preparation, and policy/procedure reviews
- Drive process efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across IAM operations
- Produce and maintain high‑quality job aids, knowledge articles, and technical documentation
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to uphold cybersecurity and IAM best practices
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills
- Hands‑on experience with SailPoint IIQ, Duo MFA, Entra ID, Ping, SSO, and Identity Governance tools
- Proven background in IAM operations, access support, and technical issue resolution
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, audit processes, and control frameworks
- Knowledge of ITIL, cybersecurity principles, and general IT concepts
- Ability to manage performance reviews, compensation planning, and budget considerations
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree; CISSP or similar certification preferred
