Role Overview
The Vice President of Enterprise Security & Risk Governance will lead the organization's cybersecurity, risk management, and incident response functions. This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise security roadmap, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of enterprise information security, risk management, and incident response.
- Evaluate and enhance the maturity and effectiveness of the security program.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and crisis response initiatives.
- Develop and enforce security policies, awareness programs, and compliance initiatives.
- Manage internal and external audits related to IT security.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to assess and mitigate security risks.
- Hire, develop, and lead a team of managers, engineers, and analysts.
- Oversee and manage the security and risk management budget.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in security or risk management.
- 5+ years in leadership roles managing senior-level staff.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST-CSF, ISO 27000, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOX.
