Role Overview:
Our client seeking a skilled and proactive SRE / DevOps Engineer to join their cloud infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, and data platform tools like Databricks and Snowflake. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-native solutions that power renewable energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, with a focus on serverless architecture and FinOps best practices
- Design and implement scalable AWS architectures
- Set up and manage Databricks and Snowflake environments
- Provide user support and guidance on:
- CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations
- Contribute to the evolution of internal DevOps practices and tooling
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in AWS, including serverless services and cost optimization
- Proficient in GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment
- Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with Sceptre and/or AWS CDK is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Databricks setup and administration
- Knowledge of Snowflake
- Must be able to speak fluent French and English
