Your Responsibilities
- Take ownership of Shepherd's product experience across data collection, automated underwriting, and policy administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, underwriting, and actuarial experts.
- Work across the tech stack to deliver impactful solutions with agility and precision.
- Contribute to building a positive and growth-oriented company culture.
Your Skills & Experience
- JavaScript/TypeScript Expertise: Proficiency in using these languages for frontend (React/Next.js) and backend (Node.js) development.
- GraphQL APIs: Experience with GraphQL and Apollo frameworks for efficient data querying.
- Database Management: Hands-on experience with Postgres & Redis for robust backend support.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to wear multiple hats as an engineer, product manager, or designer in ambiguous situations.
- Experience: At least 4+ years in full-stack development (preferably within InsurTech or related fields).
