Senior Frontend Engineer (Web & Mobile - React/React Native)
Location: Onsite - San Francisco, CA
A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of its web and mobile platforms. This is a full-time, onsite role ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about building seamless, high-performance user experiences across diverse interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable frontend applications using React and React Native
- Integrate wearable devices and custom video streaming protocols into mobile platforms
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and real-time interactions across web and mobile
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering
- Mentor engineers and drive frontend best practices across the organization
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern frontend tooling strategies
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Deep expertise in React, React Native, and TypeScript
- Experience with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin) and integrations (e.g., Apple HealthKit)
- Strong understanding of state management, UX optimization, and real-time data handling
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern engineering practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Startup mindset with a bias toward ownership and impact
Nice to Have:
- Experience with WebSockets, compiled languages, or healthcare-related applications
- Exposure to backend technologies (Node.js, SQL, Redis)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
