What You'll Do
- Take ownership of the infrastructure that powers a high-traffic, consumer-facing platform, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments to support continued growth and product expansion.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, consistent, and low-friction deployments across the engineering team.
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, Helm deployments, and GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD.
- Build and maintain observability systems, proactively monitoring performance and responding to incidents.
- Partner closely with engineering leadership to define and execute long-term infrastructure strategy.
- Support and optimize data infrastructure, including Aurora, Snowflake, and CDC pipelines.
- Contribute to modern platform initiatives, including deploying and managing AI-driven systems in production.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, taking responsibility for production health and system uptime.
Who You Are
- You have several years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, and have supported production systems at meaningful scale.
- You bring strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- You're comfortable owning deployment systems end-to-end, with hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and working within GitOps frameworks like ArgoCD.
- You have working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and modern tooling (e.g., Crossplane), and are confident scripting in Bash or Python.
- You've worked with data infrastructure and understand the challenges of scaling databases and pipelines (Aurora, Snowflake, CDC).
- You approach problems with a systems mindset, balancing reliability, performance, and developer experience.
- You communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders and are comfortable working closely with leadership.
- You're motivated by ownership, enjoy operating in lean teams, and prefer environments where you can shape how systems are built-not just maintain them.
