Firewall Rules Implementation Technical Coordinator
As part of a large-scale international cybersecurity project to deploy next‑generation firewalls across sites in EMEA and APAC:
- Coordinate the technical implementation for the design and implementation of security rules with different teams and external suppliers.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the firewall rules implementation industrialized methodology supported by automation, traffic filtering strategy, and rules engineering methodology. Review, maintain and update related documentation.
- Interface with stakeholders to analyze requirements and constraints. Provide guidance and recommendations.
- Control and validate the quality of technical deliverables.
- Support technical operations during deployment. Conduct risk assessments, define and implement mitigations.
- Prepare and coordinate the transition to service for each deployment.
- Identify, define and implement improvements to processes, implementation methodology, technical operations, quality controls, tools, and reporting. Maintain the knowledge base.
Skills and experience:
- Broad knowledge and experience in network security and next generation firewalls (Palo Alto Networks)
- Proven experience in large‑scale, international deployment projects.
- Structured, methodical approach to analysis, planning, and execution.
- Experience working in industrial environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to work effectively with multicultural, distributed teams.
Location: Tours, France (3 days p/week on site)
