Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

Responsibilities

Analyze diverse data sources enriched with threat intelligence to detect and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and operational continuity. Investigate technical events such as malware, forensics, and incident escalation, while collaborating across teams to coordinate defenses and share insights that support key business functions.

Basic Qualifications

• Analyze diverse data sources enriched with threat intelligence to detect and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and operational continuity. Investigate technical events such as malware, forensics, and incident escalation, while collaborating across teams to coordinate defenses and share insights that support key business functions.
• 4+ years of experience managing and responding to cybersecurity incidents
• Strong skills in incident handling, analysis, and resolution
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCFA, CYSA, Security+)
• Experience working with global teams and intelligence-sharing groups
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and reporting in technical environments
• Deep understanding of threat intelligence tools and security controls
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize in dynamic settings

This is a hybrid role (3 days per week onsite) out of the client's Sydney, Australia office, no sponsorship is available now or in the future.
