Key Responsibiliites
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and rollout of a cutting-edge AI product for the life sciences community.
- Collaborate with engineering and application teams to define requirements, assess capabilities, and shape the product release roadmap.
- Partner with UI/UX teams to ensure product features align with user needs and continuously enhance the offering.
- Engage with the life sciences community to monitor adoption, gather feedback for enhancements, and inform future product releases.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with required experience in life sciences or healthcare.
- Possess deep expertise in AI/ML engineering and applications, with a strong focus on foundational models and deep neural networks.
- Demonstrate experience developing ML/AI products designed for consumer-facing, non-expert user bases.
- Maintain a solid understanding of molecular biology and the diverse high-throughput data types commonly used in academic and industry life sciences research.
- Bring knowledge of engineering and cloud infrastructure considerations relevant to building and deploying scalable AI solutions (a plus).
- Lead and integrate cross-functional teams-including data scientists, engineers, and UI/UX designers-to drive coordinated efforts toward successful outcomes.
- Have hands-on experience developing client-facing software products, particularly those used in pharmaceutical or biotech environments
