Our client operates as a technology‑driven enterprise focused on improving developer productivity, enhancing infrastructure automation, and enabling better decision‑making through advanced AI and machine learning capabilities. It maintains and scales high‑performance computing (HPC) environments and applies modern AI tooling-including large language models, autonomous agent workflows, and machine learning systems-to solve real business problems.
Role Summary
The AI‑Focused Software Engineer will design and build software solutions, services, and tooling that support both infrastructure operations and AI‑driven workflows. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals and a passion for integrating AI/ML components into scalable systems.
While deep ML experience is not required, candidates with exposure to AI‑enabled projects will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software systems that integrate AI/ML components into core business platforms.
- Develop applications and tooling that improve infrastructure automation and developer productivity.
- Deliver clean, maintainable, testable code within an agile environment.
- Provide proactive operational support, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and developer tooling improvements.
- Stay current on AI/ML tooling developments and apply relevant advancements to improve platforms.
Required Skills
- Strong software engineering experience building scalable systems.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with .NET or Go is a significant plus.
- Strong understanding of TDD and clean coding practices.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative improvement practices.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to AI/ML workflows or projects integrating AI components.
- Experience integrating AI APIs/services into larger systems.
- Familiarity with telemetry, logging, and observability tools.
- Background in microservices or cloud‑native architectures.
