We're looking for a highly capable Full-Stack AI Engineer who can operate across the entire technical stack: from frontend interfaces to backend systems, infrastructure, and AI pipelines. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and can take full ownership of ambitious, high-impact systems.
This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility from day one. You'll work in a tight-knit engineering team that values technical rigor, product intuition, and a willingness to dive across layers of the stack to deliver high-quality systems end to end. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and designed for engineers who want to build quickly at a high bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack applications spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js
- Work in Python to build and integrate LLM-driven features, pipelines, and AI-powered workflows
- Implement architectures for tool use, retrieval, and agentic systems
- Own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployments
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability under demanding production workloads
- Contribute to architecture design, code quality standards, and long-term technical vision
- Collaborate closely with a small engineering team to iterate quickly and deliver production-ready features
Qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience across the stack
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and SQL
- Experience building backend services, distributed systems, and APIs
- Hands-on experience with LLM integration, fine-tuning, or modern AI frameworks
- Comfortable managing AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker environments
- Ability to own features end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Strong opinions on code quality, architecture, and maintainability
- Experience building production-grade AI systems or complex full‑stack applications
- Familiarity with agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, or multi-agent frameworks is a plus
- Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in New York City

- Experience with large-scale data processing or high-throughput systems
- Background building workflow or automation-heavy products
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning
- Interest in rapid prototyping and early-stage product iteration
