Role Overview
Our client is seeking a driven and high-energy Business Development Representative to help build and scale its outbound sales motion. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on pipeline generation and overall go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Qualify inbound leads and maintain engagement with new and existing prospects
- Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Develop and refine messaging and sales outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline management within CRM tools.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
- Develop a strong understanding of the platform and communicate its value effectively
- Create a strong first impression with prospective customers
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a Business Development or Sales Development role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Customer-centric mindset with strong listening and problem-solving skills
- Based in or willing to relocate to the New York City metropolitan area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to technical buyers
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure technologies
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot
