Title: Senior AWS Clous Solutions Engineer
Location : London
Hybrid: 3 days from home
Contract: 6 month renewable
I'm currently working with a key client in the Financial services space who is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer to join the business on a contract basis.
Project:
The project will be focused around streamlining deployment processes, improving automation, and tuning instrumentation, with a mission to improve collaboration between Development, QA, and Operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the definition with other team members of AWS Cloud infrastructure
- Provide Support on AWS with some seniority expected - building another Landing Zone, so a knowledge of the Azure is needed
- Responsible for implementation of solutions in one or more of the following technical areas: Infrastructure architecture, container technologies, serverless compute, databases, networking, connectivity, security and compliance.
- Manage the maintenance of the infrastructure environments with standardised process and automatized tools.
- Ownership and maintenance of monitoring platform.
- Provide second line support for department when needed
Skills required:
- · 7+ Years of experience on AWS platform.
- · 5+ Years of experience with CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Cloudformation)
- · 5+ Years of experience in a oriented DevOps settineg
- · Experience of designing and implementing new projects AWS based
- Previous experience working in the Financial Services space
