Associate Vice President, Global Field Technology

We are supporting one of the leading hospitality and vacation groups to bring on an Associate Vice President of Global and Field Technology out of their West Coast region. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing IT across multi-property hotel regions, particularly with a focus on tech transformations, vendor, and property management systems. Responsibilities

  • Lead field technology strategy and execution across multiple hotel clusters/regions, ensuring alignment with hospitality operations.
  • Oversee technology support for resort, sales, and marketing locations, ensuring uptime, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage regional technology teams, providing leadership, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Drive implementation of new technologies, upgrades, and lifecycle management across hotel properties.
  • Collaborate with property GMs, regional operations, and corporate leadership to align technology with business goals.
  • Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and asset security standards are met across all locations.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues and support continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of technology leadership experience, including managing regional hotel or resort operations.
  • Strong background in hospitality systems (PMS, POS, guest services tech, etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead distributed teams across multiple hotel properties or regions.
  • Experience in project management, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and support a 24/7 hospitality environment.
