Engagement Manager (m/f/d) - Pre-Sales & Proposal Management | Remote / Germany Preferred
A leading European tech services firm is looking for an Engagement Manager to drive complex pre-sales and proposal processes across the DACH region and key Western/Northern European markets. This is a client-facing role blending bid strategy, team coordination, and solution development for enterprise-level engagements.
Your Responsibilities
Lead multiple simultaneous pre-sales projects (e.g., RFPs, workshops, tailored proposals)
Work closely with solution architects, analysts, and designers to craft high-quality, competitive proposals
Own the full proposal lifecycle-from opportunity identification to submission and presentation
Engage directly with enterprise clients, supporting discovery sessions and managing expectations
Contribute to internal improvements (e.g., retrospectives, process refinement, knowledge sharing)
What We're Looking For
Several years of experience in either pre-sales or proposal/bid management (ideally both)
Ability to manage high-stakes client interactions and guide cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level)
Familiarity with regulated industries like healthcare or energy is a plus
Certifications such as APMP or PMP are advantageous
