Engagement Manager (m/f/d) - Pre-Sales & Proposal Management | Remote / Germany Preferred

A leading European tech services firm is looking for an Engagement Manager to drive complex pre-sales and proposal processes across the DACH region and key Western/Northern European markets. This is a client-facing role blending bid strategy, team coordination, and solution development for enterprise-level engagements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple simultaneous pre-sales projects (e.g., RFPs, workshops, tailored proposals)

  • Work closely with solution architects, analysts, and designers to craft high-quality, competitive proposals

  • Own the full proposal lifecycle-from opportunity identification to submission and presentation

  • Engage directly with enterprise clients, supporting discovery sessions and managing expectations

  • Contribute to internal improvements (e.g., retrospectives, process refinement, knowledge sharing)

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of experience in either pre-sales or proposal/bid management (ideally both)

  • Ability to manage high-stakes client interactions and guide cross-functional teams

  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure

  • Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level)

  • Familiarity with regulated industries like healthcare or energy is a plus

  • Certifications such as APMP or PMP are advantageous
