Role Overview
Our client is seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative to join their founding GTM team.

This role will own top-of-funnel pipeline generation, combining hands-on outbound prospecting with automation and experimentation. You'll work closely with leadership to build outbound strategy, and create a scalable pipeline engine from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage structured outreach sequences, including cadence and deliver-ability optimization
  • Run A/B tests on messaging, subject lines, and outreach strategies
  • Develop account-based outbound strategies across target accounts
  • Source, research, and qualify prospective customers independently
  • Generate pipeline and book qualified meetings
  • Partner with founders and GTM team on outbound strategy and tooling
  • Track key KPIs and optimize performance
  • Help build scalable outbound processes from scratch

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in an SDR/BDR or early-stage sales role
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting
  • Experience sourcing and owning your own leads
  • Comfortable with cold calling and high-volume outreach
  • Ability to work independently in a high-ownership environment
  • Strong communication and messaging skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking performance metrics
  • Based in or willing to work onsite 5 days/week in New York City

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a founding or early GTM/sales hire
  • Familiarity with outbound automation tools
  • Exposure to developer tools, infrastructure, or technical products
  • Background in AI or high-growth technology environments
