Overview
Glocomms is partnering with a leading and growing hospital system for their Manager of Network Management & Operations in their Pennsylvania and Central New York Region. This role oversees the health system's network performance, reliability, and day‑to‑day operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will help modernize the network environment, support clinical operations, and lead a team that ensures secure connectivity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team responsible for keeping the organization's network reliable, secure, and available across all facilities.
- Work with IT and operational leaders to support system wide initiatives and ensure the network meets clinical needs.
- Manage the setup, configuration, and support of network equipment and services across the health system.
- Plan and oversee network upgrades and long-term needs.
- Create and maintain procedures to ensure consistent compliance with healthcare requirements.
- Develop team members to strengthen overall network capabilities.
- Review new tools and technologies that enhance performance and security.
- Ensure network projects and resources stay on schedule and aligned with organizational priorities.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of IT management or network operations experience
- Experience leading technical teams in a complex environment
- Strong communicator who can work well with clinical, business, and IT teams
- Comfortable handling both strategic planning and hands-on work
Technical Expertise & Program Knowledge
- Strong background in network infrastructure
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, cybersecurity and clinical operations.
- Experience with network monitoring, automation, and patch management
- Familiarity with cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience supporting high availability systems in 24/7 environments
- Understanding compliance requirements (HIPAA, JCAHO, and HITRUST)
