Principal Architect, Cloud Platform
Summary
We are seeking a Principal Architect to lead the design, development, and technical strategy of a next-generation cloud platform supporting complex operational and optimization workflows. This individual will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for defining architecture, building scalable backend services, establishing engineering standards, and partnering across product, engineering, and business teams to deliver a reliable, high-performance software platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building and scaling enterprise software products.
- Proven success designing and implementing large-scale cloud-native applications.
- Deep experience with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong background developing production-grade backend services and supporting mission-critical platforms.
- Experience leading technical strategy, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Expertise deploying and operating applications within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Strong understanding of system reliability, observability, security, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
