Glocomms is partnered with a leading third-party logistics and freight brokerage firm seeking a Head of Information Technology to lead and scale the organization's technology function. This individual will be responsible for the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of the technology platforms, infrastructure, and systems that support a rapidly growing logistics and fulfillment operation.

Key Responsibilities
WMS & Operational Technology
- Lead the optimization and support of warehouse and operational technology platforms.
- Partner with operations teams to improve fulfillment, inventory visibility, and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure technology systems can scale alongside business growth and expansion.
EDI, API & Customer Integrations
- Oversee customer onboarding and systems integration initiatives.
- Manage EDI, API, and data exchange workflows between customers, vendors, and internal systems.
- Support implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of customer-facing integrations.
IT Infrastructure & Networking
- Lead enterprise infrastructure, including networking, cloud services, wireless environments, servers, endpoints, and connectivity.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's technology environment.
- Oversee cybersecurity, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
Business Applications & IT Operations
- Manage business-critical applications, systems administration, software lifecycle management, and vendor relationships.
- Oversee IT support functions and technology projects across the organization.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies that support operational objectives.
AI, Automation & Technology Strategy
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Drive technology roadmaps and process improvement initiatives that support long-term growth.
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities.
Requirements
- Experience leading IT operations within a 3PL, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or fulfillment environment.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse technology.
- Experience with EDI, APIs and systems integrations.
- Background supporting networking, cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity.
- Experience driving automation, AI, and process improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage technology projects, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
