IT Manager, Data Governance
Glocomms is partnering with an innovative and scaling biotechnology organization that is hiring an IT Manager, Data Governance to take ownership of CMDB and IT asset governance within a large, complex enterprise environment. This person will be responsible for improving data quality, automating asset and configuration management processes, and ensuring accurate information flows between ServiceNow, endpoint management, identity, and other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring configuration and asset data is accurate, complete, and properly governed.
- Improve CMDB health through identification rules, reconciliation, deduplication, lifecycle management, and standardized data ownership.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle processes, including onboarding, allocation, ownership, maintenance, and retirement.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and other enterprise platforms.
- Develop automated data synchronization and workflows using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
- Manage and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers across hybrid infrastructure.
- Create CMDB health reports, asset compliance dashboards, and lifecycle reporting for IT leadership.
- Partner with infrastructure, endpoint, identity, and application teams to improve data quality and accountability.
- Support audit and regulatory requirements through strong data governance, documentation, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the scalability of IT asset and configuration management.
Requirements & Desired Skills:
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience with strong experience in ServiceNow, CMDB, ITAM, or ITOM.
- Deep understanding of CMDB data models, CI governance, Discovery, reconciliation, and data quality.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID.
- Hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, OAuth, JSON, and system integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting and automation, including Business Rules, Transform Maps, Scheduled Jobs, IntegrationHub, or Flow Designer.
- Knowledge of ITIL Configuration, Asset, and Change Management practices.
- Experience working with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, JAMF, or SCCM.
- Strong understanding of data governance, normalization, reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with Excel and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
- ServiceNow and/or ITIL certifications are preferred.
- Experience supporting a large, regulated enterprise environment is a plus.
