Customer Details

Our customer is a leading French IT Services Company based out of Lyon, they support customers all over France including a number of Retailers, Banks and Pharmaceutical companies.
They are supporting their end customer, a French retailer, with optimising their Supply Chain and looking for a Data Scientists to support them with this.
The customer offers remote working, a long-term engagement and the chance to explore new technologies on the job and to get the most out of their new GCP Platform.
Glocomms have supported this customer for over 2 years and currently have over 40 consultants supporting their projects and customers.

Job Details

Data Scientist

Primary responsibilities of the position will include Mapping with Jira, documenting using Confluence and developing their Supply Chain using Bigquery, Python and Google Data Studio. You will be responsible for using their Software and Machine Learning to analyse their data, before working with their development teams to implement the suggested changes to optimise the platform.
Tech Stack : Agile, Cloud GCP, GIT, Picnic, Python, Shell and SQL.
The customer is looking for two Senior Data Scientist to which a Junior engineer will support them with project work and to learn from the Senior figure.
The team is made up of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Developers and both Technical and Functional Management, on a daily basis you will be working in unison with their team with between 15-20 people in total.
The project being run is to improve their supply chain for their Transport and improving their system to allow it to estimate their volume and flow of work.
French is the working language but having a fluent level of English is a huge asset as they have teams overseas.
No certificates are required, but any relevant GCP certificates can certainly support your application.
