We're hiring a senior leader to own enterprise‑wide data and AI governance - setting standards, defining accountability and ensuring AI is deployed ethically, securely and at scale.
This is a high‑visibility role with real influence. You'll shape frameworks, guide senior stakeholders and lead how data and AI are governed across the business.
What You'll Own
- Enterprise data and AI governance frameworks - policies, standards and controls
- Compliance with data protection and AI regulation (GDPR, UK/EU AI frameworks)
- Data quality, stewardship, metadata and lineage
- Responsible AI standards - fairness, transparency, explainability and bias mitigation
- Governance across the full AI lifecycle, including ML and LLM‑based models
- Engagement with senior leaders as the authority on data ethics and AI risk
- Building and leading a high‑performing governance team
What You Bring
- Strong senior‑level experience in data governance, data risk, analytics or AI oversight
- Deep knowledge of data management concepts and governance frameworks
- Hands‑on exposure to AI governance and responsible AI practices
- Confidence working with modern ML and LLM‑based models and evaluation approaches
- Experience operating in regulated environments
- The ability to turn complex technical issues into clear, practical guidance
- Clear leadership presence and the confidence to challenge when needed
