he Role:
Our client, a Tier 1 Hedge Fund, is seeking exceptional C++ developers to join their front office engineering team. This is a rare opportunity to work directly on high-performance trading systems that drive real-time decision-making and execution in global markets. You'll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions have immediate impact.
What You'll Do:
- Write low-latency, high-throughput C++ code for real-time trading
- Build and maintain mission-critical infrastructure used by portfolio managers and quants
- Collaborate closely with traders to design and implement new trading strategies and systems
- Refactor and adapt legacy systems to integrate with our next-generation trading platform
- Optimize performance across distributed systems and networks
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 4 years of experience writing high-performance C++ in production environments
- Strong command of modern C++ standards (C++17/20), with deep understanding of language features
- Experience with template meta-programming and advanced C++ design patterns
- In-depth knowledge of network programming, sockets, and distributed computing
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems, including performance tuning and debugging
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with high attention to detail
- Financial industry experience is a plus, but not required-technical excellence is key
