Strategic Account Executive - Enterprise Software (Remote, France)

A globally recognized enterprise software company is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive growth across a portfolio of major enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned relationship builder with a proven track record in subscription-based software sales, particularly within large, complex organizations.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts

  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities across a range of software solutions

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to shape proposals, handle commercial terms, and ensure long-term account health

  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle-supporting pre-sales efforts, driving adoption, and managing renewals

  • Analyze usage metrics and customer data to assess engagement and proactively address risks

  • Manage the full sales cycle: from initial lead to deal closure, working closely with internal legal, finance, and technical teams

  • Maintain detailed documentation and forecasting using CRM and internal systems

What You Bring

  • Extensive enterprise sales experience (10+ years) in B2B software, with a focus on complex solution selling

  • Strong understanding of the SaaS/subscription model and how to drive long-term customer value

  • Proven ability to close large enterprise deals (in the seven-figure range)

  • Hands-on experience managing full-cycle sales processes across multiple stakeholders

  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Excel, and internal collaboration platforms

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across technical, commercial, and operational teams
