IT Support Associate
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Associate to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
- Support the deployment of new hardware and software.
- Maintain logs of issues and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Escalate complex problems to higher-level support or specialized teams.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on software and hardware usage.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a technical support or help desk role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
