Our client is a confidential, globally recognized advanced manufacturing and technology organization known for its highly specialized engineering and precision‑driven innovation, looking to hire for a Senior Network Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Architecture

  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance to maintain high availability and consistent service delivery.
  • Architect and deploy scalable network solutions across LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, and data center environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot core networking components including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and operational technology (OT) network devices.
  • Lead lifecycle management for network hardware and software, including upgrades and refresh planning.

Security & Risk Mitigation

  • Identify vulnerabilities and enhance network defenses through continuous monitoring, patching, and remediation.
  • Administer security technologies including firewalls, NAC, SIEM, and VPN platforms.
  • Review network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect anomalies or emerging threats.
  • Contribute to incident response efforts and help strengthen preventive controls.

Documentation & Standards

  • Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, SOPs, technical documentation, and operational policies.
  • Ensure consistency, compliance, and quality across all network‑related procedures.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with systems, applications, and DevOps teams to ensure secure integration of new services and technologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior technical staff.
  • Drive strategic discussions and lead technical planning for upcoming initiatives.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation to support critical issues.
  • Occasional travel may be required in support of organizational initiatives such as integrations or site expansions.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in network administration with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade networks.
  • Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, DNS, DHCP, authentication frameworks, and related core technologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN solutions, and network access control.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and technical analysis skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Aruba/HPE certs, CISSP, or CompTIA credentials.
  • Experience with cloud networking and security (preferably Azure).
  • Familiarity with next-generation firewalls, enterprise Wi‑Fi platforms, access control systems, or SIEM technologies.
