Senior Business Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major digital transformation programme within a leading insurance organisation in Germany. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving clarity, structure, and momentum across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the gathering, documentation, and prioritisation of business and technical requirements.
- Analyse and redesign core insurance processes to support digitalisation and automation.
- Work closely with product owners, architects, and development teams to translate requirements into actionable delivery items.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder reviews, process mapping sessions, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Support agile delivery teams with backlog refinement, user story creation, and sprint planning.
- Ensure alignment between business goals, regulatory considerations, and technology solutions.
- Track progress, manage risks, and communicate status across teams.
Required Experience
- Several years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the insurance sector.
- Strong background in digital transformation, process optimisation, and system modernisation.
- Excellent knowledge of requirements engineering, process modelling, and documentation standards.
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / SAFe).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in both German and English.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast‑moving programme.
