Product Marketing Manager
Our client is an early-stage startup on a mission to transform how organizations detect, respond to, and outmaneuver cyber threats using advanced AI. With strong backing from top-tier investors and a founding team of cybersecurity veterans, they are building a next-generation platform that empowers security teams with real-time intelligence, automation, and collaboration tools.
They are now seeking a Founding Product Marketing Lead to define and drive their go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
What You'll Do
As the first Product Marketing hire, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the company's narrative, positioning, and customer engagement strategy. You'll work closely with the CEO, Product, and Sales teams to bring the product to market and build a strong foundation for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to key customer personas.
- Lead go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution for product launches and feature rollouts.
- Conduct competitive and market research to inform product strategy and differentiation.
- Translate complex technical features into clear, compelling benefits for both technical and executive audiences.
- Create sales enablement content including pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, and case studies.
- Collaborate with Growth and Demand Gen teams to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
- Represent the company in webinars, blog content, and industry events as a thought leader.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 2+ years in early-stage startups.
- Cybersecurity experience is required-you understand the needs of CISOs, security engineers, and enterprise security teams.
- Proven ability to craft compelling messaging and positioning for B2B SaaS products.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Background in security engineering or technical product management.
- Experience marketing to enterprise buyers or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in cybersecurity.
