Our client who are a leading cyber security provider, are searching for a technical sales engineer to join their UK&I team. The main focus of this position is to connect the sales team with their pre-sales customers. As the technical liaison, you will be responsible for managing and providing technical information to customers in order to help close deals. This will involve proactively engaging with customers both on-site and remotely, using various communication channels
Our client specializes in safeguarding critical infrastructure networks. Their solution empowers network operators with comprehensive visibility and management of their OT network. This is made possible by incorporating a non-intrusive Industrial IDS for monitoring real-time networks, along with security gateways that provide secure access to devices situated in critical zones.
- Take part in pre and post-sales activities to comprehend customer requirements and environment.
- Carry out Proof of Concept deployments, manage, and troubleshoot/support them.
- Generate technological documents, such as proposals and statements of work, for potential clients.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to provide customer feedback.
- Develop customer-facing materials, deliver training, and provide support during conferences and trade shows.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a pre-sales or customer support role.
- At least 2 years' experience in the cyber security field, including network security implementation, SOC analytics, etc.
- Hands-on technical experience is mandatory, including knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and architecture, and proficiency in Linux environment and virtual management systems.
- Familiarity with cyber security risk management methodologies is desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud-based systems is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-oriented attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, a proven team player, motivated, and able to learn independently.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced start-up environment and culture.
- Industrial Control Systems/OT experience is a plus.
