A global leader in the Big Data & Analytics market, ranked by Gartner as the customer's choice for Operational Database Management Systems is seeking an Key Account Executive DACH to join its German team.
As an Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving forward business opportunities, as well as building and developing relationships with exsiting and new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop key relationships, identify sponsors, and nurture technical, alliance, and sales relationships
- Maintain the growth of existing key accounts
- Achieve/overachieve your quotas quarter by quarter
- Meet with senior executives (CEO, VP Development, CTO) on a regular basis
- Represent the company at sales conferences to promote their data platform and services
Skills and experience required:
- 5+ years related sales experience
- Proven track record
- Previous experience working in the software industry, ideally selling DB, MW or data analytics solutions
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong customer empathy and advocacy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and goals appropriately
- Ability to handle changes in direction and work priorities with ease and positive attitude
