A leading Network Security vendor is looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join their team covering clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. This is a remote role, requiring 40-50% travel within designated territory. The SE will work closely with Account Manager(s) & Regional Sales Director with a winning mentality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account responsibility for all technical activities, building relationships with customers to help them understand their security issues & challenges
- Be primary point of contact & technical resources working with AM and sales team to close sales through technical strategies
- Meet and exceed the prospect's needs to drive successful sales business through pre-sales & PoCs showcasing the value of security solutions
About You:
- Linux & Windows OS
- Cisco routing, switching, gateways & applications (must)
- Network Security experience
- Public/Private Cloud
- Formal sales training or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years in a pre-sales or pre-sales technical support role
Certification CCNA, CCNP, CCIE a plus
