A leading Network Security company is on the search for a Sales Engineer to work with Enterprise Customers in California, Colorado & Texas. This is a remote role requiring 40% travel. This position involves working with organizations lacking detection, mitigation, response & visibility. Reporting to the Director Security Specialists, the role requires constant interaction & consultation with customers along as well as a strong understanding of the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed the prospect's needs to drive successful sales business through pre-sales & PoCs showcasing the value of security solutions
- Account responsibility for all technical activities, building relationships with customers to help them understand their security issues & challenges
- Be primary point of contact & technical resources working with AM and sales team to close sales through technical strategies
About You:
- 7+ years-experience working for product organizations in a pre-sales position
- Exceptional communication skills and charismatic presenter
- Experience with advance threat and DDoS & NDR security products and techniques
- Proficiency at system integration
- Must also possess technical skills that relate to these areas
- DDoS & NDR
- Routing, switching, gateways and applications (must)
- TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, VoIP
- Various topologies, LAN, WAN (MPLS, Frame, ATM)
- Network security
- Experience responding to or creating RFI or RFPs
- Certification CCNA, CCNP, CCIE a plus
