Glocomms is currently leading a search for a Senior Account Executive at an exciting start-up in Supply Chain Visibility, that has already found success with massive clients in the industry. Their platform promises an unmatched amount of detail and transparency for all methods of intermodal transportation - ships, trucks, trains, and planes.
They are currently in the stage of expansion, and they are looking for an experienced, dynamic hunter, who will bring their unique expertise onboard, and is open to come in and help the company develop further in the DACH market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategic plan for the territory and implement it, supported by MQLs and BDRs
- Independently generate pipelines, develop them further into proposals, and then neogtiate and close activities for your accounts
- Define the outreach plan and conduct first appointments with target customers
- Maintain customer relationships for the long term to encourage up-selling and cross-selling as part of the company´s land-and-expand strategy
Requirements:
- Have a background in the Supply Chain industry.
- Be comfortable in a startup environment, and be able to contribute to refining the offerings and go-to-market approaches of the company.
- Demonstrable track-record of achieving and over-achieving sales quotas.
- Hunter/New business development mentality
- Strong consultative & value selling skills with excellent pitching/presentation, communication, negotiation and deal closing ability
- Excellent verbal communication skills in German and English; other languages are a plus
