The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining strong performance standards of him/her-self: proactive prospecting, prospect qualification, relationship management, pipeline growth, and determining/delivering assigned sales revenue targets. The right candidate for this position will act with a sense of urgency. S/he must have the ability to perform at a high level individually with a strong hunter mentality while providing accurate sales forecasting, rigorous qualification, excellent sales acumen, with detailed and timely reporting via CRM tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Attainment of personal sales goals via pipeline generation and new logo acquisition
● Developing relevant account plans and close plans for key opportunities
● Presenting your territory plan at quarterly business reviews (QBR)
● Articulating the value proposition and benefits via face to face and online meetings, presentations, and demonstrations
● Accurate forecasting of opportunities in the CRM
● Accurate and timely reporting on activities in the CRM
Requirements:
● 5-10+ years demonstrated success selling software into large enterprise accounts
● Experience in an early-stage tech start-up, business transformation sales, cybersecurity, financial services, and healthcare sectors a plus
● Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast, efficiently originate, and close sales
● Exceptional presentation and listening communication skills
● Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
● Open and collaborative teamwork
● B.A./B.S. or equivalent
● Travel as required
