My client are a global, well-established cybersecurity market leader in the endpoint detection space, who are looking for a Sales Engineer to join its fast paced French team. In the role, you will be responsible for being the link between the sales representatives and their pre-sales customers. You will take ownership of the technical relationship with the pre-sales customers to proactively help close business by managing and delivering technical information to customers by numerous means of communication.
Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions to complex technical issue within the pre-sales capacity
- Channel feature requests to product management to enhance the clients products with new features that address customer needs.
- Build vendor and customer relationships
- Ability to provide software/network troubleshooting on technical issues
- Expand and maintain working knowledge of current and upcoming Trend Micro products
- Participate in beta testing programs, including the internal testing of products in the alpha and beta phase
Skills and experience required:
A BS Degree, or the equivalent combination of education and sales engineer experience in computing
- Sales engineer experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows NT/2000 and/or UNIX Operating Systems, Microsoft exchange, DNS, ISS required
- Experience in computer software/systems including cybersecurity products; detection, firewalls, content security, antivirus
- SOC or XDR experience preferred
One or more of the certifications below, or related experience is desired
- CompTIA Security+
- CEH; Certified Ethical Hacker
- CISSP; Certified Information System Security Professional
- MCSE 2000 / MCSE NT 4.0
- CLP; Certified Lotus Protection
- CNE / CNA
