A market-leading, hyper-growth Big Data vendor is seeking a Sales Leader for the Southern EMEA region (based in France, Italy, Spain preferably). This company is an absolute market-leader int eh Open Source / Databases space and is being funded consistently. This role will allow you to take over the current team and also to build the it further, reporting directly to the GM EMEA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a sales strategy and plan within the region, to drive revenue and growth forward
- Implement the sales plan, ensuring its proper execution
- Support and your sales team, participate to the professional development of all members of your team
- Report and monitor sales activity, conducting regular revenue forecast
- Represent the company in sales events
- Recruiting and onboard new team members
- Ensure targets achievement
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Field Sales
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Management
- Fluent in English (+ French, Spanish, or Italian)
- Leadership/coaching abilities
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience selling Databases / Cloud / Big Data / SQL topics
- Demonstrable track-record of achieving or overachieving your sales goals
