A Cyber Security/Storage software vendor is seeking their First Person on the Ground for DACH. With the rise in cybersecurity threats, this exciting, fast growing start-up provides the only solution that helps enterprises protect their data, by securing their storage systems - both on-prem and in the cloud. This role will give you the opportunity to shape the future success of this company across the entire region.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on a select list of large prospective customers, especially in the DACH financial sector
- Develop a sales strategy and plan within the region
- Initiate, progress and close new business at assigned key accounts
- Focus on winning new customers
- Strong 'direct sales' focus, with excellent co-sell opportunities via leading channels
Skills and experience preferred:
- Track record of successfully selling high-end security software solutions to Top 10 banks or other very large financials
- Cyber and/or Data Storage background
- Strong hunting experience
- 10+ years of enterprise software field sales experience
- Proven ability to access and win over top-level IT management and CISOs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
