A well-respected boutique, global trading firm is looking to add a Lead Information Security Architect to join their Chicago-based US team!
This person will demonstrate technical (~70%) and strategic (~30%) experience as an individual contributor reporting to the CISO, and collaborate with 4 other members of the IT team. While many trading firms tend to keep their IT / Security team lean (~1 person), this organization recognizes the magnitude of their efforts and as a result, is actively growing across all IT verticals.
General responsibilities include:
- Design and development of secure architecture across the on-prem network and AWS/Azure
- Prior hands-on involvement working with firewalls, identity and access management, endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, monitoring etc. from the ground up
- Implementation of different controls with proven impact planning roadmaps, to ensure governance / compliance alignment and improve risk management across the organization
- Use Python or Java for scripting (strongly preferred)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 3+ years in hands-on technical, network security-based role
- Additional 3+ years professional experience using AWS or Azure within information security
- Coding Proficiency with Python or Java (not required)
Compensation & Benefits:*
- Base: $180-200k+
- Bonus: $55-75k+ (pending individual performance)
