One of the global leaders in the digital freight forwarding industry, a company from the United States, is now looking to establish a greater market presence across Germany and Europe. They are seeking an experienced Sales Person from the (freight) industry to join its German team. This person will be responsible of driving forward business opportunities, as well as building and developing relationships with new customers.
Responsibilities:
- The role consists mainly of new logo acquisition - giving you the chance to plant a seed and help establish a company in the region that has shown no signs of slowing down.
- You will develop a sales strategy in the assigned territory with a prospect list
- Work with and support Channel Partners to create net new logo opportunities in prospects and upgrade/expansion opportunities in customer accounts.
- Develop a regional sales plan to achieve/overachieve your quotas quarter by quarter
- Leading a squad in partnership with a Client Solutions Manager to drive client success and revenue generation
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex, Freight forwarding sales - Air and Ocean.
- Experience selling in multiple verticals
- Utilise a defined Sales Methodology (MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, SPIN) for business needs/business understanding
- Strong executive presence
- Forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy
- Demonstrable track-record of achieving sales goals. Strong reputation on exceeding sales quota's
- Hunter/New business development mentality
- Experience selling to {C-level)
- English and German Speaking
