Your tasks:
* As a data engineer for global strategy, you develop new concepts for the insurance industry together with data scientists and data analysts.
* You work on data-driven solutions and building data ingestion and machine-learning pipelines.
* You focus on automation and dev-ops principles to develop scaleable and production-ready solutions in cloud-native big data architecture.
* You have customer needs in mind and use the data to increase customer benefits.
* You build ETL pipelines within cloud architectures.
* You help to build scaleable predictive and deep learning models.
* You work with Python, Microsoft Azure, Microservices, Docker, AWS and GPC.
* There is an option to develop into a team lead.
Your profile:
* Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or comparable.
* At least 2 years of professional experience as a data engineer.
* Very good knowledge of Python as well as SQL.
* Experience with cloud solutions.
* Enjoying it and having the skills to explain complex issues to people who are not experts in the field.
* Willing to travel to New York or Singapore up to 4 times a year for a week and presenting results to top management.
* A plus: Experience in leading teams.
