A market-leading open-source company, in the Big Data area, is seeking a Cloud Sales Executive South EMEA to join its team, based in France, Italy, or Spain. They offer world-class database (Postgres) management software, an integrated portfolio of databases and tools, 24/7 support, and many more.
In this role you would be the 3rd salesperson in the EMEA region, evangelizing the product internally and externally as well as closing deals with the international team, specifically focusing on the Cloud business in the Southern EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- The role consists mainly of building the Cloud business and acquiring new logos
- 100% focused on driving sales of the Cloud product of the company in EMEA
- Share your expertise in selling cloud based solutions
- You will develop a sales strategy in the assigned territory with a prospect list
- Develop a regional sales plan
- Achieve/overachieve your quotas quarter by quarter
- Work in cohesion with the marketing, sales engineering and channel sales teams
- Train and mentor our excellent team of sellers on how to maximise Cloud selling opportunities
Skills and experience required:
- 7+ years of experience in the Cloud area
- Fluency in English (plus French, Italian, Spanish preferred)
- Excellent track-record
- Experience with infrastructure architecture including storage, compute, database, and networking, cloud
- Experience in the Big Data & Analytics area
- Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP is essential
